NREIS

any new ideas on how to collect? I have 3 from January. Save the preaching...I know I should not have taken them. I am just looking for new information on how to get paid please.

Someone just said this week that they sent a collection letter and ....well, look it up - I forgot the rest as I don't work for those who can pay timely. They got immediate results though.

I had an attorney in Legal Shield send a collection letter for me. I got all my money within a week. I am just a customer of Legal Shield. I do not sell it.

Reposted here for you:

<<<NREIS ignored my phone calls, faxes and emails concerning past due payment for a closing in mid-March 2012. Finally, I filed a civil complaint with the District Magistrate in the borrower's jurisdiction. A hearing was scheduled for today (June 13, 2012). Several days ago, an attorney for NREIS (Kelly Mancini) phoned to discuss settlement. I agreed to reimbursement of the amount invoiced plus the fee I paid for filing the paperwork.

Their lack of communication, failure to pay, and now using other companies as a shield are strong indicators that NREIS may be about to disappear off our radar screen. I hope my success will encourage other notaries public who are waiting for payment from NREIS to avail themselves of magistrates (or whatever small claims courts are utilized in their states). Finally, insist that NREIS pay by certified check! >>>

As far as I know, this is the only time...

...that Seals on Wheels has ever posted in this forum. That may be the coolest name I've seen for a mobile notary. L-o-t-s better than something lame like Signing Agents of Austin.

Re: As far as I know, this is the only time...

I sent an email to my U. S. Senator and he forwarded it to the State Attorney General. Then I advised NREIS about what I did. I got paid about 3 weeks later. It might have helped that the Senator is a neighbor!
