Premier Lender Service Lp Not paying..

Premier Lender Service Lp 17942 Sky Park Cir Ste B Irvine California 92614. Called me to do a signing on
04/ 27/ 2012 I accepted it and printed over 300 pages , traveled over 25 miles one way to do a Reverse Mortgage.
All was completed and return. I was told my check was sent out on 05/15/2012. I have not yet received it! I've called and email almost everyday. They are not responding to me now. They owe me $150.00!! I hope they will pay, but it's not looking good!

Since you are just a little over 30 days, I'm not sure what

the issue is here. I've never had a problem getting paid by them.

Re: humm...according to their policy payment should have arrived

If they promised to pay on the 1st., it is possible that they cut the check on the first and mailed it on the 2nd. Today is the 4th. You'll probably get the check tomorrow or the next day. I would say if you don't get it by the weekend, then become concerned. You may have jumped the gun by a day or two.

Fredia, if you are going to purport to be a businessperson..

...you need to develop a better sense of perspective.

As I read your post, the invoice is only 39 days old, and yet you are posting on a very public forum, trashing a company that, incidentally, has an excellent reputation. My guess is you will get your check, but you will never again receive a phone call from Premier. Hiring parties read this forum, and you just burned that bridge.

I don't even begin to get edgy with companies till an invoice is 45-60 days old. There are too many things that can happen that will delay payment -- including my failure to send an invoice. If you are in such dire need of cash that you have to post things like this, you probably would be better off at Taco Bell, where you would get a regular paycheck.

I just did my first signing with them a little over a week ago, After reading reviews about them, i was excited they called. Lol. I hope to hear from them again. (to early to receive payment yet, but I have no worries at all about it).

Re: Fredia, if you are going to purport to be a businessperson..

Don't scare the guy. Payment is expected usually within 30 days of closing or by what they say within reason. I am still trying to collect one from April 18 from another company with a good record, and am very tempted to post on here as well about them very soon. 45 days is an exception and have no choice ever but to wait. You get to the point when you hear "the check is in the mail" becomes a broken record. We have the right to post and to make these guys pay in a timely matter. I don't mind burning bridges from non payers and chasing checks becomes old. BTW...the company that owes me supposedly has been paying within 7-10 days. No excuse. It's not this company, just tired of the BS, so I feel for this guy.

GA = attorney only ... consider yourself lucky that,

apparently, GA isn't enforcing their own laws.

Amazing that TC's and SS's don't realize the laws in the state where they're doing business.

Fredia - have done many for them and never had to worry about being paid. You will be paid and for my 2 cents I consider 25 miles one way to be the norm. I cover a very rural area so that number of miles is a snap

IF she were in a rural area, I agree. If not, in high urban area, 10 mi. can be a long time sometimes.

Flowery Branch GA doesn't seem like a big metro area - when you cover rural areas it can be worse than major cities. Travel on 2 lane country roads, watching for deer or other creatures, in the pouring rain can be much worse & more time consuming. Either way, if you're rural, 25 miles is no big woop - you do it or get out of the business.

Done a hand full of GA signings

All of them I had to put lawyer on speaker phone, he chats with borrowers for about 5 minutes when he is done he leaves me a telephone number in case they have questions during the signing.

Did a lawyer speak with borrowers at anytime during the closing? PLS pays like clock work the only reason they would not is if you did not put lawyer in touch with clients during signing.

Mike, since it was signed in NJ I'm not sure the

attorney-only provisions applied to you. If lender/title wanted it that way that's fine.

I will tell you that in GA, telephone presence does not fill the requirement - the attorney must be in physical presence at the signing.

Anyone wants to know, it's been posted here many times - and not just me - PAW too..

Premier is one of the better, if not best companies I work for. By the way, I don't agree much with any of Hugh's political opinions but he is right on the money with this one. Have you really been doing closings since 2001?

No one here is buying your rant.

PLS is very professional. I can't remember ever having a problem with their checks. I also have never had a problem with them not responding to an email. Trashing them on line is not going to make your check appear, and it's only going to make you look bad. Sometimes the mail loses things.

Perhaps you should send them a friendly email that says something like, "I haven't received my check yet. Can you please look and let me know if you have sent it and what the check number is? And just in case, this is my correct address. Thanks!"

When the check arrives, please tell us and let us know when it was posted. In the mean time, you might want to double check the spelling on your profile.

I just want to let all you good folks know that I finally received my check from Premier lender. I received it yesterday 06/11/2012. I called them or emailed them almost everyday since I posted my complaint, all I got from them was that they would send my email to accounting. Calling was worthless because I only could leave a message and the emails didn't seem to go anywhere. I finally told them last week that I would be filing a complaint with the BBB this week if I didn't receive my payment immediately. The check was dated 06/08/2012 so the check was NOT mailed on May 15th like I was told. I never got a call from accounting explaining why I was told the check was mail on 05/15/2012 or why the check wasn't mailed out on the normal pay period.
YES I have been doing Notary service since 2001 and have worked with many companies, I am well aware of deceitful intent and can recognize it when I'm lied to.
I only do applications for Georgia now because the State of Georgia requires Attorneys to witness deeds and the recorded legalities. Hopefully with more experience you guys out there will learn to recognize the RED FLAGS when you see them. I've seen many of these businesses go under and leave notaries unpaid and I have been one a couple of times, so I don't rely on their reputation because I know it can change. I rely on what they say, they are going to do, if they don't do it SOMETHING IS WRONG. If they don't explain it SOMETHING IS WRONG!!
Thank you all for the replies, and Good luck to you with Premier Lender..

I'm glad they paid you. I knew they would.

Thank you for clearing their name on the forum. I can understand why you would be concerned, but I was upset that you trashed them before you gave them sufficient time to correct the matter. We still don't know if the check was mailed on the 15th and got lost and they had to send you a new one.

I have a different company that has not paid me in four months, but I am not going to broadcast it to everyone on the forum because we are still working it out. They have always paid me in the past, so I know we will solve it. (Apparently my invoices have not been getting to accounting, so I need to email them, which I have not gotten around to doing because I am doing 4-5 jobs a day.)

Thanks Friend. I have been in this business 11 years, I know how to judge and what to expect from a company by now. I have dealt with very many. I only take advise from lawyers. Smile

I did a Reverse mortgage app and closing. They owe me $225. Can't get any response by email or by leaving a message. They seem professional on the surface, but don't pay. Won't accept another assignment from them. Wish I had checked them out first.
