Pro Mobile Notary - Blum

Back in early May, 2012, I had an assignment from Howard. When I went to FedEx to drop of the dox, Title's FedEx account number was invalid. I called Howard to try to get the correct FedEx number. After several calls back and forth, I suggested that I would pay the charges and get reimbursed. Howard told me to invoice Title directly for the charges, which exceeded $100. I sent Title my invoice, and after about a month I got a call from Howard telling me that Title had sent him the reimbursement monies rather than making a check to me. Shortly thereafter, Howard sent me a check. The important thing here is that I forgot about the monies due me. If Howard hadn't called me to tell me he was sending my money, I still wouldn't be thinking about my reimbursement. THANK YOU HOWARD for always being on top of everything!

Okay..call me confused...

Nothing against Howard - never worked for him, don't know him -

But how do you NOT remember that you're out of pcoket over $100. And what the heck did you send that cost over $100 through FedEx?? Good grief!!

Re: Okay..call me confused...

I know - I totally agree with you. How in the world could I forget an out-of-pocket expense for over $100. Beats me! Probably a senior moment. I tend to get them more often than not. As for the expense..it was a complete package sent overnight to Hawaii without a discount. But more important than my memory loss is the fact that Howard Blum is honest and straight with his dealings. There are some signing agencies that might have overlooked the payment and put it right into their own pockets. That is the point of my post.

FWIW: going back for two years, Pro Mobile Notary...

has all five-star ratings except for one four-star outlier. If my <brother> ran a signing service, I wouldn't incur a $100 FedEx bill for him, but if you're going to do it, Pro Mobile is the kind of company to do it for. I can't think of a better vote of confidence or expression of appreciation.

Or reason to schedule an appointment with the nearest shrink.

So if one of your ex-wives happens into the Poodle Dog, and buys the bar a round of drinks but forgets her purse was left in the car, you won’t front her the $100 (or $17) to pay the tab?

Since the last barfight, the Poodle Dog Lounge no longer ...

... accepts any of my exes, though they are still welcome at Beverly's Biker Bar. One is too busy for the bar scene nowadays; she has begun her own business, training alligators to fetch, sit, and roll over. It's the perfect niche: The gators are so terrified of her, they'd sing "Dixie" and dance if she demanded it. I know: Would you like for me to hum a few bars for you?

Query…Do I need anything to get into Beverly’s Biker Bar besides some cash, a taste for longnecks’, mescal, a tin of Copenhagen, and a pack of Camels? I already have my HOG membership. Sounds like my kind of place?

I AM about to make an appt. with the shrink but in defense of the idiotic move, it was a high-profile signing and imperative that the dox arrive on time. No! It wasn't POTUS, but at the time, it seemed as if it was. OK - OK so it was dumb - but danged considerate of me!!

Sometimes going above and beyond is not the correct business decision, but it is the right thing to do, and just maybe it will be recognized by others.JMO

Re: FWIW: going back for two years, Pro Mobile Notary...

I might add that I gave Lynn my personal guarantee of reimbursement if she would do that.

What was not communicated is First American Title (corporate) initiated a change with the FedEx account numbers of all offices. Lynn tried to ship the docs back to Hawaii and FedEx said the account number she was given was no good. The FedEx office was about to close and the package for a high-profile actor & his wife (I refer to Lynn as our "Hollywood Signing Agent") had to go out that day and the Hawaii office could not figure out what their new FedEx number was. That is the background.

What Lynn did was 'above & beyond' and it was greatly appreciated.

It’s reassuring to hear that there are still honest people, good to their word in this business.
