South Carolina Fee's
I am a Newbie and would like to speak to someone "one on one" about the prices that are acceptable in this area. I don't want to be low balled or taken advantage of and I don't want to hurt the NSA industry in any way. I didn't get into this business to do it for free either. my email is [e-mail address].

Did you realize when you "got into this business"
that SC is an attorney-only state? You need to find out just how much attorney involvement is required in SC - telephone presence may be sufficient; or it may be required that the attorney attend and/or conduct the closing. This is information that you need to find out before you conduct any closings.
In the meantime, the only one who can answer your question about fees is you...how much do you need to make? Do some research here through the orange search button and use the information you find to help calculate ALL the expenses you will incur to do signings. Then you'll have to come up with a fee that adequately compensates you for your expenses plus a profit that fits your needs.
Good Luck.

Combination certified notary with waste services
You may want to keep your notary public and certified notary signing agent business separate from your waste removal services business.
Just a suggestion. I know combining the two businesses saves on costs; however, in the event of a lawsuit or complaint, you may want to keep some distance between each business.

Re: Combination certified notary with waste services
As for the two Businesses , they are separate , except I can't hide the fact that I own it and now doing this as well . it's called a business license . That's why I have an LLC to protect it and I have E&O insurance to handle this . I only asked for suggestions on pricing , but I can see that I won't get it here. I am New to this , Not Business in General . I was hoping there was someone that seriously wanted to help .

Ruth, Do you also have notary commissions in GA & NC?
That's what your website seems to indicate.
FYI, GA is also an attorney only state for real estate closings.

Re: Wow..good question...are you commissioned in 3 states?
Yes Linda , I am commissioned in 3 States and as for the Closing's, I know the Attorney has to be there for those signing's. I never started a conversation about doing Closing's... My question was only about a fair price so I wouldn't be low balled and Hurt our Industry. But I know my Worth and I know what I am willing to do for what.

"I never started a conversation about doing Closing's"
Well then I misunderstood you when you said you didn't want to hurt the NSA industry....the term NSA, or Notary Signing Agent, is usually associated with closings.
Also, if you weren't referring to closings, and are not doing closings, then your question is moot - your fees are regulated by the individual state - you can only charge what the state allows per notarial act or per signature, with possibly a travel fee allowed.
