Today turned out better than expected.
I literally just got home. Stopped in home a couple times today. But I think I can actually stay home this time. Turned out to be an ok EOM.

First EOM that Im home before 11pm. lol usually I dont get home till 1am. But my last signing was at 10pm. I felt sorry for the guy though. His original time was 6pm. Company didnt have docs till 615. I had written it off as a cancellation. They called at 630 asking if I could still go out (I was on the road and had 3 other signings to complete). Told them he would have to be after all my other signings. They said they would find some other notary. 15 mins later they called back saying they couldnt find anyone and they will accept anytime I can get out there. lol
Overall, It was great. Last Friday was a busier day for me. I pulled a 12 hr day.

It's good that you're young and can handle a 12 hr day!
Ten years ago I was amused at my 60+ friends and fellow notaries who didn't take jobs too late in the evening. Now I am one of them! LOL! I got home at 9:45 last night and couldn't fall asleep until about 1:30 AM.

Me too, Shoshana, unfortunately..
lots to be said for youth..
First of all, at 6:30pm I wouldn't still have 3 closings to do - I can't book that many any more;
Second - even if I'd gone crazy and DID have 3 to do, I wouldn't have tacked a 4th one onto my night's to-do list - I would have graciously declined and that last call would have been referred to another notary.
Just can't do that any more.

My signings yesterday were at 3, 5:30, 7:30 and 9. I only had the 9 because it was supposed to be a 9 AM, but the docs didn't come till 2! Today I am exhausted. So far I only have 1 at 7 PM. I haved to trudge off to the gym in a little bit. Time to meet with my trainer!

Had 6 yesterday...One I picked up at 6 for 10:30
Got home at midnight. It was a 14 hour day.
Took 10 days off at the beginning of the month. Have to take em when I can.
