US Certified Signers

I see GBU on them for 2010 but nothing recent. They have been meeting my fees but I'm still worried. I'm doing another closing for them tomorrow. Anyone have recent experience with them? Thanks

I did one closing for them few months ago. They met my fee and paid within 30 days.

Re: they are good with me

I hear they pay like clockwork, but they were the ones that sued James Dawson because he wouldn't sign their notary instructions, which say, among other things, if you, the notary, do anything we don't like, we don't have to pay you. They, of course, did not prevail in small claims court. But they never paid James for his two signings, either, which he did (as I recall) back-to-back around Christmas when they were desperate for a notary. Ostensibly, they sent him the instructions AFTER the signings were done; so they didn't give him a chance to decline, but I don't recall that for a fact. Anyway, other than that I hear they're just fine!

Oh, and then about a year or so ago, after the bad PR as a result of their stupid failed lawsuit, they talked all their notaries into inundating NR with praise about how great they were. That, too, was pretty sickening. But they're still going gangbusters ... probably because they do pay their notaries (except James).

I have been working with Michael form 2005 (is the year I started this business) and I always received the confirmation first. I never had a problem getting paid after hundred of signing competed for his company. Just remember to sign the confirmation and fax or email to them.
