Uh-oh
Up till 3 a.m. last night. Lucy the Chihuahua and Hugh the NSA both had upset stomachs. Lucy cured hers by ingesting a few blades of grass. Unfortunately, that didn't work for me.
Phone woke me up early this AM. I had heard all I needed to hear when the caller said "Global." He wanted to know if I had any availability Tuesday.
"Yeah," I do," I growled, "but not for you folks. Your company has horrible reputation."
"Well...okay, then," he mumbled, obviously taken aback, and hung up.
I went back to sleep, quite the self-satisfied signing agent, having decisively put one scumbag signing service in its proper place.
Checked the Caller ID later. The caller was UST Global. UST Global's rating in Signing Central: 3 1/2 stars. Of the last four ratings, three were five stars, one four stars. On the other hand, the rating for Global Notary, which has been the subject of extensive comment in NotRot lately, is 2 1/2 stars.
I don't feel nearly as self-satisfied now.

I've been caught on the other side of that issue.
There is a great co., Global Title, that I have worked with. The other week Global Notary called & I had said yes. I also didn't know at the time that they are tied to Nations Direct. (thanks to this forum) Don't you just hate it when the names are so similar....... grrrr.....
