AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
UNRELIABLE, BAD/NO COMMUNICATION, LAST MINUTE CANCELLERS.
I was assigned a job recently with Voyage Financial Group in Sacramento, CA. They offered a very fair price for a signing with signers at two different locations many miles apart. The signing could be scheduled anytime for that evening as long as it was that same day but they requested I try to schedule it for no later than 5:30PM. They informed me that the docs would be ready and sent to me by 3:00PM. Because I could not find any positive or negative reviews and the price was good, I gave them a chance.
I waited until 3:50PM to email my contact to see if the company sent the docs already and I just hadn’t received them. Then I followed up with a phone call 4:20PM when they failed to respond to my email. I check to see if my contact wanted to cancel or reschedule the appointment but she assured me that the docs would be coming soon and that the signing still had to be completed that day. She also requested that I contact the signers to push back our meetings an hour, which I did.
I ended up waiting until 7:00PM and by that time I STILL hadn’t received any documents. I had already cancelled two other appointments because they assured me the appointment with them was still a go. At this point however I informed them I consider this a non-signing on their part (how am I going to notarize at a camp site in the dark?) and was going to charged them half the cost of the signing (which is what the majority of my other companies would offer) for essentially tying up my services all evening for nothing, however they refused to compensate me for my trouble.
Don’t waste your time with this company. They offer you a very good price just to flake on you later with no consideration for your time or money. Think they wouldn’t be upset if after accepting the job you ended up as a no show without even telling them? Of course they world!
I also I noticed they were not listed in the directory, however when I tried to add them I got a message stating they were already and couldn't be added. Can someone at Notary Rotary look into this?

Accommodated signings for them March, April and May. Each paid in less than 2 weeks. No hand-holding. Found them easy to work with.

Have closed 4 loans and have been paid within 2 weeks. They pay every Friday after closing.

Why would you cancel the two other appointments? Were they signing appointments or just some unimportant personal appointment that you didn't want or need to attend?
I would have told them this, "I understand that docs are sometimes late, and I will try to work with you and the borrowers in getting this loan signed. However, please understand that I have the docs for my other signings this evening, and I will have to keep those appointments. Please call me when you have the docs. At that point, I will try to arrange another time to meet with the borrowers."
Yes, they obviously should have notified you if the loan signing was cancelled altogether.

I did a signing for them on 1/5/13 and received my check on 1/22/13. My fee was met and no hand holding. I will work with them any day.
