missing documents
I have not been able to locate the documents that I sent to the wrong lender. I have been working through the signing service that hired me and not with the lender that received the loan package. I tracked the package and it was received June 1 at 9:00am in the mail room at Loan Depot but noone can seem to find it. Does anyone have a phone number and a contact at Loan Depot? I have offered to go out and resign.

I've been following your posts and felt awful that this happened to you. Now you can breathe again. I hate that this would happen to anyone else, but if it should, you will be there to support and help them through it. Now be good to yourself - remind yourself of all the things that you do so well as a notary. Karla

Re: happened to me once
and I sweated bullets! Found a wonderful person in the mailroom of the company where I had sent them (wrong company) who found them AND shipped them to correct company. I sent her flowers and she sent me a "thank you". People can be so good sometimes!!! I'm so happy that it all turned out well for you!

Re: Patti
What comes around goes around I would send her a nice note thanking her for going beyond the normal scope of business . We all like to get a thankyou now and then. (maybe a starbucks card)

I'll second that--mailroom can be awesome!
The one time I switched packages, one went to Service Link. Many of you know how challenging it can be to find a PERSON over there. Well, I found a person--a lovely gal in the mailroom who hunted up the package for me, she had a record of everyone who got every package with every tracking number, and she found my mis-sent documents on the desk of someone who was on vacation, so she grabbed them and re-routed them for me.
