question
Docs are to be kept in order received. DO NOT separate the doc package. I welcome any comments on this instruction. The package has 150 pages and 1/3 of them are junk interspersed with the essential documents.

What's the big deal?
I get instructions NOT to return in a different order, and I also get instructions to use a particular stacking order. I don't understand the post.

absolutely. you could flag the ones you want them to see
flag the docs you want them to see first, pull them out for review then replace and move on. Not worth irritating a ss or title over.

When you print the pkg, leave them in the exact order they printed. The ONLY exception to this that I would do is pull the HUD (if it doesn't print first) and put that on top to go over first with borrowers. Doesn't matter if 1/3 of them are junk, just flip them at the table leaving everything in order whether they get signed or not. The HUD (IMO) has everything you need to show them the terms of the loan, with the exception of the escrow disclosure which I go over when I get to it.

Follow your instructions. Also, this was discussed
recently, see msg. 423804.

Is this a serious question?
The instructions are DO NOT separate the package. Which part of DO NOT are you concerned about?
If you want to present the docs in a order other than how they were printed, do as someone else has already suggested - flag them with sticky-notes first so you know where they have to be in the stacking order before you return them.

My instructions say keep in order. The docs came in 3 files, but not what file is to printed first. I pulled the SOI out and put it in the back of the package so I can double check my work when the borrowers are filling out that form...hmmmm. Gosh I hope Title doesn't call the SOS with an sos on me. Do you feel better now that some paid attention to you, even though this has been discussed before?

Could always rearrange the borrowers copy and go over that with them, (the few main docs), then sign with other copy

I don't remember ever receiving instructions that said do not separate the packages. Many of these signings come in several attachments - and there's no guarantee that the order in which these attachments are sent to me inbox is the order in which I receive them in my inbox. If there were instructions as you mentioned, then I would, of course, follow them.
