Android Scored Again
I was just about to put my irremovable battery phobia aside and get an iPhone when I learned about the Galaxy S II.
The large display area was the perk that won me over. However, I hear that the iPhone 5 will have a bigger display when it comes out in the near future.
For now, I am sticking with Androids. As far as I can tell, the IPhone doesn't have anything except Siri over on them any more. The Android voice command apps are getting pretty sophisticated now. I'm currently using Vlingo.
Another Android is out with an even bigger display...the Galaxy Note. Large, clear displays are so nice for those of us who need that little boost to avoid wearing bifocals full time. (I had not noticed but my student worker noted on Friday that I wasn't even putting on my cheaters to look at my phone now. So nice to be able to see!)

I like my HTC android over the iphone. Bigger display for the old eyes and larger typing area.

I agree Ladies...Ihave the Samsung Stratosphere...
It has the slide out keyboard (so much bigger than the BB-love it!), which I like better than trying to use the display...ugh, if you don't hit them just right, it's soooo incredibly frustrating.
The Verizon wireless guy was saying that they probably won't be making the slide out keyboard anymore. He said that this will probably be gone by the summer and they'll become obsolete. I highly recommend it! Love it.

I enjoy using my HTC Merge with the slide out keyboard. I can "thumb type" much easier than point to the touch pad squares. I hope they continue some form of keyboard phone for we who have fat fingers.

Re: BrindaTx question?
I love it too. I look at on the other day. Can you down load a full set of docs on it? I know you can print with it if you have a wireless or eprint program.

BrendaTx: I have same phone (Galaxy S2) and love it. Also, don't think you are missing anything with SIRI. She is more of a marketing phenomenon, not anything too inovative. The S2 has that mic/search bar that does just about anything SIRI can do (you don't need Vlingo) and if you want something a little more personal (like SIRI's cleverness) then get the personal assistant app - love it!
