Another reqest

Recieved a request, of several requests, from Eqauifas Settlement Services for a copy of my notary "license".
I have not worked for them in several years because of low pay and slow pay.
It is obovious that this person requesting the above does NOT know what he is doing. I have a Texas Notary COMMISSION, not a license. The only thing I have been asked is for my expiration date. Is this just another indication that the "low ballers" have people who need to have "make work" projects to so a reason for thier existanceand pay check. If a ss took that monery to apply to thier Notaries, then they should be able to get thier fee moar apporiate.
In a pervious request they ask for a copy for my E & O insurance, which I have with NotRot, but why do they need this when they can't file on it? Just another "make work" project so they can pay a real Notary less.

I have gotten the same request. Yesterday it was for my E&O Policy and today for my notary "license". I did a closing for them back in Jan which they met my fee and paid within 30days. They called yesterday to offer me $75 to travel 30 miles I stated my fee and he had to call me back with "approval" I told him don't bother.

Got an email yesterday saying my background criminal check is outdated and need to provide another one. Then get an email today saying my notary license expired. lol ummm yea

I've received the same emails - I think I've worked for them twice over these last several years and that was only when they were desperate and met my fee. With their recently reported payment issues, I'm not interested in sending them my updated notary "license" or E&O.
