Best pocket stamp for those interested

Brenda recommended sometime ago the Trodat Vienna 9012, a small pocket stamp that comes in a small compact with a small ink pad and a stamp. I thought that the impression might be too small, but I ordered one through my bonding agent and am so pleased with it. The impression is very clear. The downside is, you have to drink the stamp each time you use it, but the clarity of the impression and the convenience of it's size makes it worth it. The entire thing is encased in a small compact that can easily fit in the palm of your hand. Unfortunately NR does not offer these but you can find them on other notary websites.

The Tiny Titan

I'll go one better try this one from Notary Rotary ata fabulous price!!

tiny TITAN Pocket Notary Stamp

High-quality, pre-inked pocket notary stamp.

The tiny TITAN is similar to the rectangular Slim Stamp and offers a very high quality impression in a small format.

Compatible with iStamp and FastLight brands. Re-ink with Titan ink ONLY. Using another brand of ink may permanently damage your stamp.

Control and placement

That is what got me hooked on the one that Robert has mentioned. Any stamp is good if there is plenty of room, but where accuracy is concerned, I want little Trodat. Been carrying one in my purse for nearly ten years...along with a little pocket sized journal.

Re: Control and placement

I also have the same stamp and love it. Where can I find a pocket sized journal?

Might not work for California notaries

I can use a supplemental journal in Texas. I keep the little one in my purse with my little Trodat. I do not think that California notaries can do that. Check your pm.

Re: Might not work for California notaries

I do not notarize very many documents anymore, just a few a month. You are right, the pocket size may not work for a CA Notary, but I did find a 8.5 X 5.5 journal at go get stamps dot com. I carry a large enough purse to put that into. I also have two seals, so I can keep one at work and keep one at home, just carry the journal back and forth. Thanks for the idea.

Re: The Tiny Titan

I have had the Tiny Titan! It's great...but I still love my little Trodat. Smile It zips into the smallest spots...like the difference between parallel parking a'76 Caddy and a Volkswagen Beetle. Smile
