Business slow or hectic?
Currently have the slowest time the last week and a half than in the previous 6 months. Those short slow times are always the nail bite times so to speak. I am still in both signing and inspection business and marking 12 years at it now.
How is business in your "neck of the woods"?

It's been steady in my area since the last week of January. With everything that happened last week I still did 8 signings and some GN work. Stuff scheduled everyday this week, not busy but steady pace.

Hi, Art, nice to hear from you. I've been busy all year. usually it's slow in January, picking up in Mid February, but not the case this year. It's like dancing with a gorilla, you don't get to sit down until the gorilla does.
There's a building boom in Oklahoma due to jobs created there in the OIL industry, hmmm, maybe that's a great place to relocate to if you're a notary on the move!
Take care, don't be a stranger here. We can use your seasoned advice, expertise and maturity since PAW left us.
All the best to you and your family.

I was crazy busy in February.....wonderful!
Hope the trend keeps up.....for I know once the interest rate rises....it will not be the busy.
Wish you luck that it picks up for you......

I was very very busy up until just a week and a half ago. I guess it all slows a little once in awhile.
I would be most happy to respond to questions posted here. As you know there has been a great void since we lost Paul Williamson. He and I were very good friends as well as colleagues. We both served in the U.S. Navy and shared many memories.
With a lull right now I will try to help the best I can to answer questions and will try to visit this forum more frequently. It has not been a very regular visit lately but I know many need informational assistance here when we can deliver it. Also anyone can email me direct too if they wish. A few of you here have asked me to "get with it" on this forum. That is humbling to say the least and encouraging too. I will give it my best!

Hey Cheryl, business reports can be deceiving. Here in Oklahoma we're just starting to see the downturn experienced by the coasts over the last few years. Many people being laid off (American Airlines and USPS here in Tulsa), so please don't suggest more notaries come here for business. I need all I can get

Averaging about 3 a week. Would like to be busier. Spoke with my major title co today and they are slow right now in my neck of the woods. They are busy near their offices near Philly.

South Florida is turning as well. Has slowed down considerably in purchases, but refi's have picked up.

Been steady in MI. Better results at weekend. Sure beats last year at this time.
