Desk Top Scanning Solution?
Hi there--I have a scanner that I use for my notary work, but it is getting a little...cumbersome. I'm considering the NeatDesk desktop scanner and was wondering if you all had any input. I'm virtually drowning in paper and would like to go to a more paperless office and would welcome suggestions for a newer scanner. I am not a tech newbie, but have a hard time adjusting to change

I have heard the "wand" scanners are pretty good, but never used one. Not sure how great it would be to scan big files though, and not sure if you can scan multiple pages and save as a PDF. Sorry.

I have a wand scanner. Am looking into a desktop with a feeder. Any input is appreciated.

59 reviews are 5 star, 95 are 1 star...hmmm

Pam, I have been using the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500 for the past couple of years. Very happy with the performance, and it's easy to use. I purchased mine from Amazon.

Phyllis--are you able to network this scanner? I had read that some of the earlier ones you could not, but can't find anything on later models.

Pam, sorry about the delay in responding. I am not sure what you mean by networking the scanner? I switch connections between my desktop and laptop and it works with no problem. It's not wireless, so it does have to be connected to a computer for it to work. I hope this helps.
