E-Notaries.net

Well, I just received the following:

We are contacting you from e-Notaries.net Association, Inc. We are a Loan Servicing Agency that provides Notary Closings and a Field Service Support to our clients, and are based out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

We are requesting for a signing to be completed on Tuesday, March 20th, 2012 in Lady Lake, 32162 at 3:00pm. The signing is a refinance for $70 and it will be sent as an e-doc. We require a portion of the loan documents to be faxed back prior to shipment.

If you are interested in completing this signing, please email a confirmation as soon as possible with your contact information. Please also indicate the date of your last signing and approximately how many signings you complete monthly. Thanks.

Of course I turned it down and sent them an e-mail telling them basically that I was insulted that they would even consider paying that low of a fee especially with all they expected. I also asked to be removed from their database - and guess what, I got a response telling me "thank you for responding, if the assignment hasn't been filled, we will send you a confirmation". What??????????????????????????

I got a call from them saturday while I was out shopping saying they had a signing in my area for $70 with faxbacks. I turned it down as well.

Now that makes me wonder about the one I got. Was it because I turned them down and they just sent everything because "any response is better than no response?"

I also received this request for a closing in Lady Lake and didn't bother to respond. My fee for a closing that involves a 60 mile drive, printing, and fax backs would be more than 3 times what they are offering.

I don't do closings for $70, especially with edocs and fax back requirements.

Re: E-Notaries.net low fee but paid on timely basis

Did a closing 6 miles round trip, which was a purchase and had 20 pages e-mailed on time for closing actually one day prior , For a fee of 75.00 which was paid within 20 days > Maybe low fee but not chasing the fee and not waiting all day for doc's.

Arnold you sound mighty happy to be working for $70

I don't chase fees, nor do I wait all day for docs, and I certainly don't accept $70 for purchases with fax backs. Oh..and I don't wait more than 30 days for payment, I too usually get paid in 20 days or less..
Arnold, you don't have to either!

Agreed Sheila...

"I certainly don't accept $70 for purchases with fax backs." Keep this company in business Arnold and it degrades the whole industry. If they don't get it covered by someone reputable and capable then they'll soon be out of business allowing their work to be passed down to, hopefully, a company that will pay us a fair fee.

Are you really that desperate?

Arnold, I would do a cash closing for $70.00 if is like you said, 20 pages, but never no lender deals for that price, and they will give you business and pay on time. Cash deals in Florida are normally $75.00, and take 15 minutes. I don't mind them, and unfortunately, Florida does not pay much over that from any SS.

"unfortunately, Florida does not pay much over that from any SS."

Then you do not have the right SS's. SS's pay what you will accept.

They are sending me several annoying emails per week. I responded to one, telling them to take me off their email list. Didn't do any good. I consider them spammers.

I responded to their first email with a No Thanks, your fee is too low.

They don't read replies obviously because I keep getting more signing offers which I don't think are legit.
