Games BO play

I had a last minute deal yesterday I would fit into the schedule. Got docs two hour before deal so far so good, package is on the bigger side 160 pages, ok now this maybe a time crunch. I get to BO 10 minutes before signing.

All the cars are there, second time there did app a month ago, I ring the bell, knock on the door and all the windows are open so I yell in a few, at this point neighbors are looking at me and at five after I leave a note on my card saying I was here and everything I tried BTW the BO's were home (what the F). I called SS to let them know what happened and they asked the normal stuff but because I had 5 appointments on the day no way I could come back.

I start heading to my next appointment, 20 minutes later TC called can you go back they are there you should of had an hour of time blocked off. I did not want to get into it, but here is the facts.

I would of needed to drive back 20 min so now we are at 40 min into the hour of time

The package was 160 page, this alone at top speed would of taken over an hour to sign

So now that would of made me late for the other appointments of the day.

I'm sure it was handled because it was a very good SS and TC which I both do business with, and that is a whole story on it's own..lol

Had a similar experience, except it was not last minute. BO knew 2 days ahead of time about the appt.

I pulled up to the curb in front of their house (also 10 min early). As I'm parking a car comes flying around the curve and pulls into the borrowers driveway (barely slowing down) at a pretty high rate of speed. It's a woman, man, and two kids. The car stops at the edge of the driveway and they all stare at me for a moment. Then the garage door opens and they gun it inside the garage and close the door behind them. lol. I think okay. I'll sit here the extra 8-9 minutes and ring the bell right at 6.

I ring the bell at 6. No answer. I hear them moving. Dog barks. I ring again. No answer. Then I knock. No answer. One of the kids walks in front of the door and looks at me through the side lights. I see an adult arm reach out and pull the kid back. lol. No body. Just an arm.

So, I pull out my phone and call them and advise them that I'm outside on their porch for their closing appt. In the message I tell them I have another appt. and cannot wait. By the time I made it down their drive and into the car the wife comes flying out of the house and is waving her arms at me.

I get out and walk back up the driveway and she's apologizing profusely that they didn't hear the doorbell. Really, Lady? Your dog and kids sure did. Then she says she thought the appointment was at 6:30. I reminded her of our confirmation call.

When we get inside the husband comes racing down the stairs and says "Ha ha ha. We went out to get something to eat and thought we'd back before you got here at 6:00. We just made it!"

Mrs. turns beet red. Hubby just blew her story out of the water that they thought the appt. was for 6:30 instead of 6. Too funny.

My story (not as good as the one before mine).

One Saturday, I get there at 10:00 am sharp. The wife lets me in, but the husband is not there. She said he is at the store and she phones him. She says, "The notary is here, you have to come home now". I can hear him. and he says, "But the appointment wasn't until 10:00". She says, "It's 10:00 now". He says, "But nobody is really on TIME! I didn't expect her to really be there at 10:00! I thought she would be there at 10:30!" He was all upset that I was on time and he had to cut his shopping trip short.

Why can't doctors be on time like we are?

So many times I get to the doctor on time. They make me sit there another 15 or 30 minutes. Then they put me in the examinning room for another block of time. When the doctor actually comes in, I have been there for over an hour, and then he is so brief with me. What the heck are they doing? It's not like doctors are back-logged. They even have huge degrees so they should be smart enough to figure out how to see their patients on time. If we can do it, they CERTAINLY can do it.

I just had to gripe. Thanks. Smile

Re: Games BO play - Can you come back later

My wife has something she wants to do with the children.... I though that was unique.

I just told them that I could not but I would make a call and maybe they could get someone else. Wife changed plans. We signed.
