Not sure what kind you have, Carole...

I just peeled the rubber "stamp" part off the stamper itself and cut it up with scissors into teensy pieces.

I just put them in a paper lunch bag and put at the bottom of the kitchen garbage and throw out. And I don't lose one wink of sleep over this either.

I take a knife, deface the part with the information, then place it in the recycle bin. The plastic is recyclable.

Destroy the facing (lettering) by scraping it back and forth on a piece of rough sandpaper, and then toss the remainder into the garbage can or recycle bin.

Good way to use an outdated notary stamp

You take a very sharp knife and cut away/peel off everything but your name and then use it on those docs where they have you printing your name below your signature.
