I hate being lied to.

Two companies have repeatedly lied to me. I am unable to rate one of them so here's a warning about Single Source Property Solutions in Canonsburg, PA: No funds in the account to pay me, I was told.

Notary ASAP was mentioned recently and I'm sad to say, they too have repeatedly lied to me. Nice people, great to work with in the past, but...

Sorry to hear that. I can agree with Notary ASAP. The phone call and emails exchange in the beginning said something different until the last email I posted they sent me. I accepted jobs from them with all the "great" feedback from other notaries on here but waiting 90+ days for payment is not a business practice I am willing to add.

If they had stated in the beginning they were behind maybe Id be more sympathetic but dont tell me in the first email exchange "im so sorry about that.... we just got a new account payable ( his name is Daniel ) i will make a note on his desk to release your check, thanks". Then 8 days later tell me you have a backlog and havent paid December invoices yet. Should have said that the first time instead of having me think the payment was going to be sent out.

Luckily for me they are not my regulars. So Im not worried about them not calling me.

I finally received payment today, split between 2 checks for some reason, from Single Source for a signing I did on January 17. Never again!

For the record, I think it would be a very good idea to provide some specifics when making an accusation as serious as you have. This isn't intended as a commentary on the veracity of your claim - or lack of it- just sayin' I think you should back it up to prevent someone from taking legal action against you for accusing them of lying.

It's also helpful to future readers of your post to decide whether to take it seriously or just treat it with a grain of salt (especially since you've posted anonymously).

Just my 2 cents...

I take everything posted on here with a 'grain of salt', whether its posted anonymously or not. Just because my profile is not linked does not give me any less credibility, just as linking your profile does not give you any more credibility.

Just my. 02

You have a good point. But I interpret "anonymous" in different ways than others might. You, for example, have been posting under the same handle here for a long time, so that might give your statement more credence than a handle that's unfamiliar here. I'm not one of those who believes that we all have to link to our profile.

BTW, the OP sent me a PM. Turns out this person is someone I know - and who I consider very credible - but who had good reasons for posting under the name used. jfwiw

Really? What sort of lies have been told? I've been very straight forward with everyone.

I think if you are going to make such strong statements you should at least sign your name. It's completely unfair to slander my reputation and make accusations without providing some facts first.

A lot of notaries are mad at us for good reason. But stating that we are lying is going too far.

Notary _ASAP, you may just want to pay the people that you owe. It looks that you are being accused of lying as it relates to the 'promise to pay' date.

We are paying people we owe. I've been very straight forward about temporarily being slow on paying but I'm definitely paying people I owe.

I have dates on the e-mails I sent to them, dates they have responded (only after sending out 6 e-mails and calling 3 times), and I have the same statements from them that they send to others...."we aren't being paid, but we'll get your check out ASAP"...which they didn't do! I'm still waiting....from Feb. 20 to April 29.
