Maybe it is me
But in the last two months I've had more issues with deals for one reason or another. People not home, just in the last 3 weeks 5 people not home, last minute canceled deals (I mean just walking out the door with docs canceled.) Had a couple say no go when confirming. I do have to say when it gets to table everyone has signed and never an issue when that happens.
Never have I had so many pre table issues in all the years, the one that got me the most was an app 3 trips and no show every time no respect at all. I wanted to tell the wife on the last one are F***ing kidding me.

No it's not you. I've been experiencing the same thing. A lot of cancels at the 11th hour due to doc issues, cash back not correct, lender promising one thing and not coming through. I think the major problem is that lenders are rushing and missing details that matter to the borrower. Also, miscommunication is a major issue. Borrower's are not happy with the customer service they are getting from the lender.

Same thing here. Several signings where docs are incorrect, names incorrect or we have questions at the table that need to be resolved. Some cancels at the last minute, too. Had closing yesterday, good TC and lender, B middle initial wrong on everything. And had him as an a/k/a on docs. Docs redrawn and I went back to close him. Attention to detail is important and I agree with Dutchcloser - not getting the service they need. Communication is key.

I've been saying for the past couple of weeks that I
think the full moon and all the other stuff going on in the Universe has really knocked the earth off it's hemisphere. Weird stuff.
My 28 year old brother passed away a couple of weeks ago, Whitney Houston died and I just found out my neighbor died of a heart attack earlier this week.
Bizarre. Hopefully that's the third of the coming in 3's.

Oh my gosh! Sorry for your loss. I am also caring for my recuperating mother (since last June) and last weekend she had an allergic reaction to a medicine. ER visit and overnight observation. She did return to work. Then, my distant elderly cousin was found murdered in SC. I'm waiting for a call during a closing that my mom needs my help.

I tell ya, between the chaos with the closings, and the
real life stuff, it makes ya wonder.
I had a lot of the same troublesome closings as others. I think I may be too stressed. I keep missing my exits, driving in circles...lol...long, drawn out closings. I mentioned last week this one woman was screaming at me...lol...
Oh well, it's all a part of the business and the realities of life.

more problems lately too, and string of bad luck
after so many smooth signings for awhile (correct names, numbers, terms...), starting to see more problems again. Names not matching ID, people showing up at bank closing without ID (why are they driving without their DL?), not aware of amount due, didn't want impounds, package not left at my door in time for closing because driver thought a signature was required...
I think the large quantities of loans is causing errors again....
Also my car was vandalized while I was out hiking a few weeks ago, and the month before I was out $100 in a store when I tried to return an item that didn't have the right product in the box! Someone else switched it, not me, but too bad for me they won't refund my money or exchange it. Never had stuff like that happen before...
