Do any of you get more calls for signings with the option of paid membership as opposed to the free listing?

Absolutely. If you're going to have a business...

then act like you're serious about it, and invest in it. The Big 3 sites are necessary, as is a quality website that doesn't look like it was just patched together. These are your first impressions to companies; take a look at what you have, and ask: what are you doing to rise above your competition for the hiring company's dollar? Would you hire you?

You have to spend money to make money; fortunately, your costs for the sites are tax-deductible. However, it doesn't matter what your placement on any site is, if you don't have a well-written profile.

The fee allows you to expand your zip code searches

so you reach a wider market - I think the fee is well worth it IMO

The cafe site is worth the fee for me..get lots of calls from that listing!
