You kicked the cat!?!?

Reminds me of a story a SS scheduler told me: Notary was annoyed by this yippy dog and finally whacked it on the snout, sending it whimpering away. Only problem was the dog was like a child to the elderly couple, who called the SS the next day to complain, but the poor woman could barely get the story out, she was still so distraught over the treatment her dog has suffered. The TC apparently apoligized profusely and sent them a $100 gift card at Pets R Us or something like that.

Re: Too funny

I am allergic to cats and borrowers should try to maintain better control of their pets while we are there on business. Borrower last night had 3 cats they kept spraying with a water bottle to keep them away from me.

Re: Too funny

You have to wonder why they didn't just put them in another room.

Re: Too funny

The closing I had Monday night, I would have preferred cats instead of two overly tired kids. A simple closing that should have been 30 minutes was 1.5 hrs! At one point, I called the boy (4yrs) I would give him .25 if he took his little sister away. Worked for about 5 minutes. He did'nt get paid!

When people ask me if I like dogs I say: "It depends on how you cook them"

I went to my dentist (Years and years ago) and told him we had roast dog for Thanksgiving...(as a joke). He starts to tell me that it was a delicacy in some country and that they can be very tasty! YUK!!!! Better find another dentist.

I was in a house last night - it was one of those that the animal smell smacks you upside the nose the moment you step inside. Three dogs, at least one cat that I saw, a bird, and not sure what other animals they had that I didn't see. This was not the cleanest home either. These people made a combined $16,800 per month, but you would never know it by the condition of their home.

Can't judge a book by its cover. That seems to be the theme for me this week.

I keep a coloring book and crayons in my briefcase. Kids

love "someone else's" stuff. lol I have also let them sit there and stamp my stamp on a piece of paper. I do tell the parents that I have to tear it up afterwards and they understand. I have several stamps so if one should break, I'm covered, but its never happened. I've also just given them one of MY pens. They love that too to draw with. Works wonders if you "give" them something.

I had one where this woman had some huge grey behemoth

I'd never seen before by the collar. The dog (almost as big as her), was snarling & lunging at me while the woman shouted:"it's ok - he doesn't bite". Not afraid of dogs - just of the people who can't control them!

What's the big deal about putting them in another room??? Are they so attached to 'Fido' they'd risk a lawsuit?? And how many of us REALLY want to do a closing w/ someone pointing a gun at our heads w/ the safety off???

Sometimes I'm in a big beautiful mini-mansion & the signers are holding 'Fido' w/ one hand & trying to sign w/ the other! Or - they take TURNS holding him!! SMH! All that money & no common sense - c'mon folks - we're here to do BUSINESS! Not only is it a convenient service - it's your HOUSE - can we just have a 1/2 hr - 45 min of your time???? Too bad we can't charge by the HR!
