Premier
I had a Premier memberships when I first joined NR back in 2004/2005, but cancelled and went to basic when market collapsed. I applied to Premier again and wanted to know how long it would take to see your status change to Premier? I applied and paid on Friday 3/16. I contacted Mgt of the this group but no response. Any ideas? thanks

Contact them again - It should have been immediately. You can phone them as well...perhaps that is what you need to do for speedy response.

Re: You are not premier now.
No, I am still basic. I was Premier when I first started in 2004; but went to basic in 2008. I paid for Premier again this past Friday; but haven't heard anything. I sent an email via the contact sheet; but didn't see a phone number as it said phone number is only available to Premier! Hopefully Harry will see my post or answer my email.

Re: You are not premier now.
Just saw/read this on the "help site" If payment is made by credit card, it will be immediate. If payment is made by check or PayPal, your account will usually be upgraded within 3 days of the date we receive payment.
I paid by Paypal. so I guess I have another day to see what happens! Thanks all.

Re: Took two days, don't think I am going to renew
I also get hardly any calls from this site. In my area, Notary Rotary doesn't seem to get very high rankings on Google, etc. compared to other sites. But I've maintained my Premier membership for other reasons. The savings on supplies offset a big portion of the annual renewal fees (since I've renewed every year, I've remained at the lowest fee level), but the biggest reason is that I feel it's important to support this forum and the resources available here. (Think Signing Central...)
These benefits may be intangible, but they're very important to most of us, nonetheless. If none of us factored that in, there would be fewer and fewer paying for a membership, which could result in two possibilities: fees for those remaining could go even higher, or Harry might decide to reduce benefits instead of adding them (free incoming fax numbers, etc.)

Janet, let me second that
I receive both tangible and intangible benefits from NotRot. My supplies here are less expensive than elsewhere. Signing Central alone is worth my annual Premier membership fee. Other sites offer discussion boards, but I have always found this one to be the most useful. The occasional referrals I get from this site pay for the membership and more. We get incoming fax service, and on April 1 will add outgoing fax service; when I had my e-fax line, it costs me well over $100 a year.
I like Harry. I like Grif. I like Traci. But that's a bonus, and even if I disliked them, I'd stay a member; what they offer us is worth far more than what they charge us.

My Premier membership well worth the cost
The benefits I get from my Premier membership far outweigh the costs. I believe it to be not only a genuine bargain, but a necessity to the well informed practicing NSA.

Re: My Premier membership well worth the cost
Les, Hugh and all of you are correct; Premier membership is worth the extra cost to me; the costs are far less than the benefits.
