Unusuall place to sign

I did a signing today and the BO took my into his garage and we signed on top of a garbage can. The BO arived a few minutes after I did and we never went into the house.

I didn't mind though, it was a resign and all I had to do was execute the DOT. Evidently the TC lost the first DOT and it never recorded. It only took 10 minutes.

Sounds like what I did yesterday. Settlement signer didn't want to meet in his house because his mother was "ill". Agreed to meet him at a McDonald's about 1/2 a mile away that he would walk to. He gets there late and doesn't have his ID, so I drive him back to his house. We go into the garage where I sit on a stepladder while we sign on a makeshift table.

It was the beginning of a very vexing day.
