What the heck?
Instructions in loan package:
Borrowers must sign and date 4506T and initial on back.
Back of what? Each page? One page? Where? Why?
Are they crazy?

What lender or S/S is requesting this? Docs are sent thru a scanner, one side only... I'm in SoCal and some of the files I have gotten lately are really nuts. One common thread is that they are all from some Ed and Fred Mortgage Bank.

"Ed and Fred Mortgage Bank" --- so funny, Singerbill! (Sounds like the name of a '60s pop duo)
No, it was Fremont Bank, which has several locations in the San Francisco area.
Anyway, I got a PM from a notary who said that the actual IRS 4506Ts are printed front and back, which makes great sense. Wonder if that means I could have printed the whole loan front and back?
Then they also had instructions that every page of the 1003 that didn't have a signatures needed to be initialed. Only there were no initial lines. Then use flippin' software that has initials lines if you want initials, morons!

Gold Girl,
I have done a lot of signings for Freemont Bank. I just have them initial the back and the second page. That way I don't miss anything.
I also like their small package. The last one I did had 1 notarization ( DOT )
