howdy anyone have an email addy/Servicelink faxbacks?

I dont fax anymore, but scan and send as a pdf file. Both contacts on this file are sending back ,"Out of the office" email replies, and this needs to get out today.....
LOVE last second docs, docs wrong, phone call as your pulling up to appt, oh, and these need to be faxed back ASAP for approval.... sorry, wont be till Saturday, my day is already screwed up beyond belief chasing docs.
Apologize for the vent. I rarely do it.
Any help would be HIGHLY appreciated Smile

Not necessarily applying to ServiceLink, but any co. who wants 'faxbacks' and doesn't supply an alternate e-mail for a scan--just scan & e-mail to whoever the order came from; cc yourself.

I COMPLETELY agree, Lee, and good idea to CC myself. They say they need to "approve" them before sending out. Well, I am not waiting all day to hear from someone. Been doing this too long.
Thanks for your input.

Don't waste your day - my money is on the fact they are not even in the office today, or at least this afternoon. You do what you can, then get on with your life knowing you did your best.

Have a greet week-end Brooke.

Fax-backs are mostly a check on mistakes on critical (funding) docs. If you made no errors DROP THE PACKAGE!! (and get a receipt IMO) It is ultimately your responsibility that the docs get returned in time….JMO

This does apply to Servicelink faxbacks

I'd probably have a dozen packages still waiting for approval IF I believed they'd really call.
If memory serves, they've never called with approval. I just drop 'em after scan/fax.

I take that back. They did call once--about 2 days after the signing and they already had the docs when they called.

Hi Brooke:

Everyone is giving you such great advice on "what they would do if they were you".....however, it may not fly with Service Link. I sign for Service Link on a very regular basis and am pretty familiar with their policies on fax backs. It all depends on which lender you closed a loan for. If it was a Bank of America file......definitely don't ship without approval from Service Link or you will get a call from vendor management about it. Service Link funds off the fax backs and they will give you the call when you can ship. They are very strict about the Bank of America closings. Just wanted to tell you that in case Service Link is a client that you plan on doing a lot of business with. If you would like to let me know who the lender was and maybe who your contact person is, I might be able to round up a fax number for you. I keep all of my confirmations from them until I get paid......and I have quite a few right now.....I may be able to help you out.

I agree ServiceLink is very specific about BOA and Chase closings. Unfortunately ServiceLink can be confusing because all of their instructions contradict the previous instructions, no numbers match up and you can never reach anyone, so if your new to them, it can be quite difficult. Next one you do for them, ask specific questions (phone#, Faxes, etc) before accepting in the future.

I just signed up with them. do you have to fax back with Chase docs? How are they to work with? I am tired of the fax back thing. Why can they not treat me like a grown up?
