reset fuser on brother 5340

How do you reset the fuser counter on a Brother 5340?
I've tried opening the front and holding go key until all lights come on. Works for toner, but not fuser.

Went to fixya and spent 2 hrs trying but no solution.
Conversed with Brothers and they said (paraphrasing) replacing fuser is a customer services job. We can direct you to your local approved service center...
If anyone has an answer, would appreciate it.
Eventually will have the same question over lazer replacement
