BancServ
Received a call at about 11 this morning for a 2:30 edoc signing today. They said docs were ready and needed a Spanish-speaking notary. A bit of negotiations and they agreed to my fee of $XXX.
Four minutes later, they call back saying they "just received instructions from Title to cancel." Guess they found someone cheaper.
Glad they called to let me know, though.

Re: They are a nothing on the books company overnight only
I got my first call from Bancserv at EOM to do a signing around 20 miles away. Negotiated a "title company" fee. Called the borrower and unfortunately, she was not informed of the signing for that day and was not available. I had the docs. She was going to lose her rate lock, which didn't seem to make a difference to her. The signing was cancelled. Bancserv called me the next day and asked if I had printed the docs so they could send me a print fee. I had not. I thought I was going to fall out of my chair!

I received edoc and overnight calls from them.
I charge them $100 for overnight and $125-$150+ for edoc signings, depending on travel. They are a great company to deal with for me.
