Butler Notaries

Got a call at 4:30 today for a 7:30 edoc signing at agent's office (30 minute drive). Spanish needed. Docs ready to go. Wells Fargo loan. They offered $65 for signing plus $25 for printing, total $90.

Me: Sorry. My minimum edoc fee is $XXX.
Him: I couldn't possibly pay that much. MAYBE I can do $100.
Me: Sorry. But, thanks for calling!

Just not my day. Frown

Thank God for GNW!

Yes, thank God for GNW. Notarized yesterday evening for a repeat customer = $40 cash. Have an appt. Friday for another repeat customer = $80 cash.

My hubby keeps asking me why I keep taking calls from SS, when I get paid more, and immediately, with GNW. Problem? I'm seeing more competition there too. And with the lack of formal training or controls here, I've seen some interesting situations.

I guess they too are scaling back on the fees, as it has been three or more years since I last work with them.

Don't understand why they has a 4.5 star rating in signing central. I got a call from them yesterday but I was busy to pick up the phone. I think i did't miss much.
