How has the volume of business been going for the Connecticut Notaries. Been a little slow on the shoreline

Business has picked up for attorneys that I know.

Not as many calls. Also, for mid-day times that I am unavailable (call comes in day before), trip at least 45 minute drive 1 hour before I need to be there (during rush hour for fun), and fee offered doesn't make it worth my out-of-pocket expenses (paper, toner, gas and wear-and-tear on car), and the LONG WAIT in HOPE of getting paid.

FYI. If the Governor signs the new law giving notaries the power to make certified copies, at least you can pick up a few extra $5 per document for a copy certification if the hiring company will pay you.
