I will call this week take two

4 deals done so far this week and 3 had to take two signings to complete and waiting to hear back on number four if it gets rescheduled. All the numbers have been horrible and the borrowers are holding the LO's feet to the fire.

At least most have come back to table the next day with Lender Credits. Today's deal is going to be a tough one, may need to wait till EOM and Lender Credit for it to work (if rate lock is still good)

Mike you are too funny...you take a licking and keep on

ticking...it's like you're saying our NJ motto, "YOU TALKIN TA ME?"

For the sake of not wanting to offend anyone (brag, boast or whatever you want to call it), I try not to post my week-or day, but I often find your posts interesting.

I had to eat crow to you because of my stance on what happened with Rikki and the decrease in her fee, so just so everyone knows, I'm not being fickle or wishy washy and am definitely NOT two faced. Though many times I agree and can appreciate what you share, there are many times I oppose it. I can be very vocal, especially when it comes to a topic I am passionate about. Keeping lowballers in business is a very passionate subject for me (not saying you DO, just sayin.)

I sometimes forget to say IMO or IMHO but just to be clear, most of what I share is my opinion and just that.

As with you, if people don't want to hear it, they don't have to read it.

I did find humor when someone said that you use the board as your daily journal. It certainly can be construed as that. (Maybe you should write a memoir on the life and times of a CNSA...lol) But again, I don't have to read it. So even though many times I don't agree with you, we can definitely agree to disagree.

This business is, in my experience, cyclical; I've noticed that depending on the demographics a company is pursuing, determines how busy we are at any given time. Often, I've seen when you are busy down there, or Linda is busy in the western part of NJ, I'm not so busy up here in Northern NJ.

That goes for around the nation. The west coast is busy and we're not, the midwest and or south, etc. etc. the same.

Though there are many things about this business that are frustrating and sometimes makes me wonder if it's worth it, all in all I love it. It's not the same ole, same ole. I'm not stuck behind a desk. You never know what's going to happen from day to day...but with that said, those are the VERY same things that can be frustrating and worrisome.

My main concern is keeping this industry upstanding and a viable business. If people continue to lower their standards and keep accepting lower and lower fees (after all, they're only going to go down), this will be an industry of the past, where people that don't know any better are being suckered and made fools of; not to mention being taken advantage of and exploited. Our time is worth more than $10 an hour people.

They need us, we keep them in business. ESPECIALLY SS's! They wouldn't have a business WITHOUT us. We ALL need to remember that.

This isn't meant for you Mike. We've been in business for about the same amount of time. I'm just sayin. I would hate to see people with our experience lower our standards because the incompetent, desperate notaries that won't be able to maintain a viable business for long, try to put the pressure on by lowballing.

Again, this is just my venue to vent and if it doesn't apply, please "let if fly." lol...my "words of wisdom" (if only in my own mind...lmao), after all, are merely my very humble opinion!!!

Wishing everyone a GREAT and prosperous business. I just heard that until around November 4, we are going to be hopping...I hear one particular party is on a mission to secure the votes...lol...hmmmmm

And who really cares - glad most posts don't relay numbers of signings, crappy packages, late docs etc. I have now learned not to ready his posts unless I want a re-cap of his daily doings..........

I'll leave the nursing homes to you to supplement your $60. signings you take and the early birds always gets the worm and in your case that may be all you can afford

Mike, you have been beaten up enough on the board about this; I'm not going to discuss this in the forum.

I am, though, at the point of just skipping your posts. You are free to post what you wish; there is no dispute with me about that. But the daily chronicles of your closings illustrate no larger point. They do not assist me in my work. They don't tell me how to be more successful or how to avoid pitfalls. They don't even provide much insight into the status of the business, since they normally deal with such a small chronological slice of it.

If you feel compelled to share that information each day, why don't you just get a twitter account? That would seem much more appropriate to me.

Okay, so that's funny, what can I say? Mike admit it...

you're really not as busy as you say you are, you're just wanting to push people's buttons, huh? lol

As long as we respond, you get your "high" for the day...lol...probably not as good as AC though huh? LMAO

We are happy that Mike has the business, BUT

if 100 notaries come here everyday to just post like a diary, then this board probably would bog down. Most would not have time to sift through to get to the meat and potatoes. I would suggest that Mike post these type of post under leisure and those that wish to follow will know where he can be found for the everyday life of a SA. We all share the everyday life of a SA but that is not what I come here for. The information I have gleaned here has greatly influenced my success along with personal contact with some of the heavy weights on this forum. Again, these kind of posts would fit better in Leisure or( twitter or Facebook) of which I do neither. I need meat and potatoes, not fluff that takes up space. Mike, kudos that you are busy, but consider moving to Leisure.

Great idea.

I don't see any value added with these posts and imo they've become like "noise" on this board. I don't really care what someone else's calendar looks like in such detail. Mike, I think you may be shooting yourself in the foot, as I'm guessing more and more folks here will just stop reading your posts and responding to them, so you may find yourself in the situation of the boy who cried wolf, if you ever have something of more substance to post about.

ME/NJ has been told at least a half dozen times...

that his signing schedule is worthless to the rest of us. He has nothing to share *about* the signings themselves, just a calender of the number of signings each day/week, which is a waste of board space. If one's posts are pointless, then the only motive for posting pointless posts is to annoy others. It's time to utilize the report button - JMHO
