NPN
It may be me but I am a tiny bit hesitant to sign on with the National Paralegal Network. A) The fact that they charge a 2.50 fee for direct deposits B) That they deduct a monthly fee from any monies earned (on a sliding scale)on a monthly basis and C) that they require 2 major forms of ID (ie drivers license, birth certificate, military ID, social security card, etc)! Then of course is their non-compete clause...
I am curious to see what type pay scale they will be offering for all of this "commitment".

I applied...they wrote to me and requested a resume
I replied and told them I didn't have one but gave them a brief summary of my work history..
They just responded today - thank you for applying but we have full coverage in your area - yeah right!! When did cows and horses become paralegals?...
After reading your post, maybe just as well..

I also applied, without a resume.
Today I got the same message as Linda.
Their loss.

Re: I applied...they wrote to me and requested a resume
I was asked for a resume from a title company a little over a year ago. Say What, a resume, haven't had one of those in 25 yrs. I went to one of the resume sites, used a template and drew one up within about 15 mins. Basically stated what I had been doing the prior nine yrs, which was loan doc signing and GN work. They accepted, and they're one of my good paying clients.

They may be calling you back soon. From the fee structure listed above, they may not have many takers.

Re: I applied...they wrote to me and requested a resume
Same thing here. I've been self employed for 6 years as a signing agent, told them I had completed thousands of loans and done general notary work and they wanted a resume from me too. I am not inclined to go forward after seeing the specific details.
These companies that want us to do everything and then there's no commitment on their part to provide work, seems unbalanced and I'm not interested.
