NREIS or NLC
Anyone having problems getting paid from NREIS or National Loan Closings Still have OPEN invoices from January and getting a straight answer or even someone to answer the phone at NLC is close to impossible. Does anyone know what is going on here?
Thanks

Try emailing this gentleman. I am waiting for one from early March. They have a billing cycle.

I have spoken to various people within the company including a vp of accounting, I emailed, left messages. I was told last week not much longer a few days they were having accounting issues.
I closed a loan in January for $100 and it is now May and STILL getting the runaround, these people are not worth doing work for, I understand they were bought out by another company but do not know who, but this still is no excuse for long delaYS.

I am contacting the parent company who bought out NREIS, to see if that will speed up paymet for past due invoices! Will let forum know the outcome.

Re: Do not accept any other assignments from them so matter
what the scheduler, most of whom are very nice folks, will tell you. NREIS just cannot fix the cash flow problems. Do keep after them; you will get paid eventually. Good luck.

Amen to that!
I give NREIS a credit limit. When they reach that limit I won't do another job for them until they pay up. My theory is that they juggle notaries. When a notary refuses to work for them, they'll use another notary till that one refuses to work. By then the first notary is going to be paid off. I am tired of playing this game!

Yes, I too am having difficulty. Did one assignment in Jan and another in Feb, still haven't been paid on either and it is mid-May now. I have called numerous times also. Very frustrating. Won't work for them again.

Most of my jobs from them were with M&I Bank
I wonder when M&I pays them?

They have been good to me. So what if they are a little slow....at least they pay you. Actually, I am working for them today. I like them.

So waht if they're a little slow?
I was 150 days out on some invoices. I got paid for those. My gut feeling is that someday soon they are going to go belly up. This is like the boy who cried wolf! When I go for gas, the gas station owner isn't going to give me interest free credit! I don't know how long you've been working for them. I have been working for them for almost 10 years. I can't afford to work for free.

I'm still waiting for Nov on closings to get paid from NREIs.Another Notary Friend of mine contacted me wondering if I did business with them, since she had not been paid for January closings. I said don't feel bad. I'm still waiting for closings I did in November. She contacted a news paper reporter who is checking into the situation. Who's is the parent company? I have no problem with NLC.
