Nations for NREIS?
Got a call from Nations...surprisingly after I quoted my price it was approved and they called me back. Today, when the pkg arrived it's from NREIS....When Nations meets my fee, I take them every time...they pay like clockwork. Any one else?

If you mean Nations Direct? NO. I will not work for them regardless of the fee. IMO their primary goal is to get the cheapest notaries available, pay the very least, keep most of their fee for themselves, offer nothing else to us including respect or loyalty. And they strive to put others in their business that have paid fare fees, know the business, and respect, and stand up for their notaries ..out of business. No, I won’t work for them or others of their ilk.

Get lots of calls but unless they meet my fee I turn them down. When they do meet my fee they always pay on time. Get ready for lots of calls from them both prior, during and post signing...from lots of different Nation's reps. Micro managed for sure.

Don't forget the FAXBACKS and to charge for them. You re all correct that they pay on time. Iwas a newbie, many years ago and signed for them. I stopped working for them years ago with their new mandated faxback policy. I had heard the beginning of this year that NREIS was hiring outside signing services to handle their closings. Too bad it is Nations Direct!

So a slow-pay, no-pay co. hooked up with
the ultimate low-ball ss. I don't think that's good news, but rather an omen. I won't work for Nations Direct--period. I'm surprised they met your fee. NREIS is farming out their work through ss because they can't get anyone to work for them anymore.

Could we be lucky enough to see them BOTH gone sometime in the near future?

I'm with Les and Marilyn!!!
I know of at LEAST one of the "good guys" that have already been put out of business by them. And a few others by companies LIKE them.
Naive people, they're paying your fees now, but once there aren't companies out there that DO pay your fees ALWAYS, not just when they're DESPERATE, then I guess maybe you'll realize the impact of your decision to keep these types of companies in business. People think they're getting over on these companies, but really you're getting over on yourselves and this industry.
Just food for thought.

Now there’s a thought!…work for the no-pay/months-to-pay-only-upon-credible-threats lowballers until all the ‘good guys’ are forced out-of-business and then try and beg a $30 fee out of these chiselers. If/when this happens guess who is to blame?
