Phone/Ipad apps
What are some of the apps you're all using to assist you in this business? I have GPS in my Honda, but it is outdated. I result to using maps on my phone sometimes. Seems like more and more apps coming on the market all the time, some free, some not.

I use the google map app. I also sometimes get on mapquest and you can have the directions sent to your phone as a msg. When I am sitting printing docs I do this a lot.

Navigator (google) Free + Telenav.com ($10 a month) between the two of them, I can always find my way to my destination.
Evernote.com (it is THE BOMB...an electronic filing cabinet and more). Free & Premium (I posted about it on leisure.) It organizes all your bits of info, plans, goals, etc.

I like Evernote for everything.
the Fedex and UPS apps (easy access to drop locations as well as pickup times).
Square for GNW clients who say "oh, I forgot to bring my checkbook..." (Square is a low-cost credit card reader and app (per transaction fee only, no hardware. It's very, very easy to use). I do a lot of writing so I LOVE the AP Styleguide (it's big money for an app, but way cheaper than buying a new styleguide every year).
Kindle app for downtime in the car.
iTrip is the app which goes to a cable that connects my iphone to a transmitter that puts my podcasts or songs on my radio, again for car time.
I often eat on the run and have special dietary needs. (Celiac = Gluten Free) So I use the Yelp app to help me find places to eat.
I like the flashlight app...for those dark January nights when I've dropped something in someone's driveway and can't find it... (not even a joke)
The Paypal app because some of my SS clients like to pay instantly.
USAA (my auto insurance) because I can file a collission report in under 7 minutes with the app (Before the State Patrol even arrives!)
Jiffy Lube's app for maintenance reminders on the car, because I would never remember any other way.
