Service Link

Hmmm, must be having trouble finding notaries. They just called me to confirm that I got the email pkg since "other notaries have not". I told him sure did. But after reading it and his rating on here, it was sent to the trash.

They're a good client of mine. Pay very well; have no problems with them.

Agree Jan

Unless both of the previous posters have had personal experience with SL, they are making judgements based upon someone else's say so which may or may not reflect their personal experience but rather a repetition of someone else's fact or fiction.

They usually only call me for e-signings and meet

my fee -- $175 - $200. Status updated on their website. Invoiced on their website. And, payment usually received 1-2 weeks later.

Re: Waiting for payment from March signings

I have the same problem and have been assured my missed invoices have been submitted for payment. When I asked why the invoices were not paid I was told there was a "glitch" in March and April. So if you have a payment issue with them get on it immedicately. It won't get resolved on its own.

Their A/P person is really helpful!

Their billing systems are COMPLETELY befuddling, but I love working for ServiceLink with the exception of when there's a problem on a closing, sometimes it's hard to reach someone.

I seldom have payment issues, and generally, it's my fault (submitted invoice online when it should have been faxed, or sent to PA when it should have gone to CA.).

They meet my fees without trouble. I don't take assignments for modifications (They don't pay enough), but as a rule, I don't usually do modifications for anyone anymore.

Arnold, your profile wasn't linked so I couldn't send you the contact person, but if you drop me a line on NotRot, I'll send you the ServiceLInk AP contact I have. She's great.

Re: Service Link low balls & their monthly invoices are a PITA

I FINALLY AFTER 4 MONTHS GOT PAID ONLY 85% OF WHAT THEY PROMISED WHEN I TOOK THE JOB. SENT MANY INVOICES, NOT TILL I STARTED BLOGGING ABOUT THEM DID THEY DECIDE TO PAY ME. I TOLD THEM TO REMOVE MY NAME FROM THEIR DATA BASE. THEY ARE JUST NOT WORTH THE HASSLE FOR THEIR LOW BALL FEES. THEY TAKE MY TIME AWAY FROM MUCH BETTER SIGNING COMPANIES AND TITLE COMPANIES WITH GOOD RECORDS OF PAYMENT AND REASONABLE FEES

Re: Service Link low balls & their monthly invoices are a PITA

These cretins are dumber than a sack of S..t(rocks) for the timid ones. They send a work order specifying docs are "sent to borrower" and notary needs to show up with NO docs in hand( as per their work order) Last minute, borrower is frantic also, since property is out of state,he gets a call from Florida to do closing there, same time as N.,Y,) Duhhhhh?
Call "lack" of service link, and they tell me they can change the order anytime,(need to to do e docs, last minute) Really? No phone calls from them. I call them numerous times before getting a village idiot ,trying to do the right thing, and they give an attitude!
Time for them to go out of business. Will never work for them ever and advise all to be WARY!
