Sometimes it pays to stick to your fees
Just got back from a closing that I had turned down last night because she could not meet my fee. Apparently the original notary cancelled at the last minute (so she said) and i was asked if I could do it, for the fee that I had quoted last night. Maybe some of these companies are starting to learn (I guess I could only hope).
