Staples letter paper sale
This morning I posted in the earlier thread about a paper sale at Staples. Well, it worked, I was able to use a coupon from Office Depot.
Paper: $48.99 Less coupon -$10.00 Less rewards - $34.00
Final price was $4.99 plus tax
Has to be in store, not online. In order to used the $10 off $50 purchase you need to grab a filler, I went to the $1 section and grabbed two items.
Good luck, the cashier really read the details of the coupon and said 'Yep it works!"

Re: When do you get the rewards?
The last time I did it I think it was around 3-4 weeks. They send you a card, I think it's a Visa gift card. Anyway, you can take it to your bank and get the cash or use it at any store. You need to sign up for the reward program beforehand, then I just give them my phone number when checking out and it works!

Re: When do you get the rewards?
Thanks. That's a lot of rewards. I have a rewards with Office depot that I think I mentioned but mostly unless they have a promotion it is 10% paid quarterly. I also turn in my ink cartridges. at either 2 or 3 dollars each (can't remember). It all helps...

Re: When do you get the rewards?
I love the Office Depot rewards and free shipping. There's a store very near my house but I absolutely LOVE that I don't have to load/unload cases of paper from my car!

Not always gift card - sometimes to your account for coupons
Unless they state specifically there is a gift card, the rewards are credited to your Staples rewards account. When there are rewards to be redeemed in my account, I get an email and a link to print the "coupon". And the rewards coupons are generally good for 2 months; the last ones I got in mid-April don't expire until June 30.
You can then use them for just about anything in the store, even on in-store copying. And you can use more than one on a single purchase so I try to wait until there is a sale or really good deal. For example, my shredder stopped working a while back. Staples had a sale on shredders along with a trade-your-old-shredder-in-for-cash deal on a specific model. Bottom line, with the trade-in and my rewards, I could have bought a top of the line shredder for under $50, saving almost $150. As it would have it, daughter gifted me her shredder, so the rewards still remain to be claimed!
