Urgent! DataQuick
Does anyone have a UPS account number for DataQuick? My fed ex place was closed today and I didn't know it! Thanks! I need to ship this pkg.

Better Hurry!
My UPS store closes at 1 PM today. However, the pickup was considerably earlier!

Yeah..I'd wager you're not shipping til Tuesday...
and while you're letting them know what's going on you better clear the switch in carriers with your hiring party - they may have a reason they use FedEx - like a better contract with them for cheaper rates.
Good Luck!

Re: Yeah..I'd wager you're not shipping til Tuesday...
well, my ups said at 9 Am this morning that they were expecting a pickup. If they don't show, it's not my problem. Had the docs been ready on time yesterday, I would have gotten them out yesterday.

Jim, I don't know about your area....but I know if
this was me here in my area we have no drop boxes and no shipping after noon on Saturday - and they do not pick up from or deliver to my home on Saturdays - I have to drive 45 miles to the nearest Kinkos and have to have it there before 2 on Saturday to go out - a holiday Saturday? Could be SOL...

Same here Linda, 45 to Kinkos, 50 to hub or airport.
With holiday u may be correct, just throwing out a suggestion and I would certainly call before driving the 100 miles, lol.
OP did not state RTC period or not, so I assume some major urgency from the post.

Same here... my nearest FedEx drop for
Saturdays is 45 minutes away. UPS is 20 minutes away, but they don't do Saturdays, either...and their weekday service is very limited (it's at a small municipal airport). The nearest UPS hub for Saturdays is just around the corner from the FedEx place (also a hub).
Anything I did yesterday has to wait to go out on Tuesday, unfortunately, as none of them were willing to pay me to drive the 90 miles round trip for Saturday dropoff.

Had one last night w/no return instructions....they were
already at home for the week-end and not worried as the loan is not going to fund until Thurs. Ship Tues, get Wed, fund Thurs. Fine with me....they are the ones working it now, although I did manage a label from one of the guys who had the week-end duty and got it to me last night. So it did go today for Tues. delivery.
I was more worried than they were. These folks understand holiday schedules a lot more than we do I sometimes think.

Re: Had one last night w/no return instructions....they were
Yeah, I think for the most part anything shipping out on Tuesday will still be okay. I think most things signed yesterday (because of the holiday) won't fund until at least Thursday. Everything I have seems to be that way.

When i started 10 years ago....
There wasn't the urgency that we feel today. If it went out the next morning, it was ok. Today, they want docs back by the next day whenever possible!

Re: When i started 10 years ago....
And in the old days they overnighted docs to us with a return envelop. We didn't have to keep a supply of envelops and waybills on hand. We didn't have to stand ready at the printer for last minute changes to the HUD, etc. We didn't have to fax back the critical docs to sit on the machine until mid-morning the next work day.
Ah, the good old days...when they paid a reasonable rate for our convenience services to their borrowers.
