someone recently gave them a 4-star rating for low pay but volume...most recent ratings 1 & 2 stars...

You make the call.

I had the unlucky moment of actually accepting an assignment from them when they met my fee a few months ago. MAJOR HAND HOLDERS. I remember 7 or 8 pages of instructions and fax backs, too many calls.

They require you send them an invoice on their form and email it a certain day of the month from what I recall. Payment was prompt but they were a PITA. I let all their calls go to voice mail.

Interestingly, I've never seen this issue discussed here, (i.e. When a company meets the notary's fee and pays promptly, but are a headache to deal with, is it worth it?). I agree with you and would avoid the PITA companies.

I dont take their calls anymore. You have to invoice them monthly but when I did it took about 60-90 days to get paid and I had to email Daniel all the time to remind them I havent been paid. So now I no longer take calls from them.

I did a signing for Loan-Closers.com
If this is the same company - Mission Viejo, CA. you have to invoice them monthly. They do provide a form.
Hope this was of help.

I got tired of them too.

And when the check does come, you just get a big lump of money that does not really quite match the invoice. When I ask them how this breaks down, I find that they shave off 5 or 10 dollars here or there, or they forget a job entirely. One time I asked Daniel about it, and he said something like, well, I did so many jobs that it was hard to keep track of. I said, "What if you worked so many hours that your boss found it hard to keep track of and they just didn't bother paying you for all of them and then hoped you wouldn't notice or complain?"

I got real tired of the whole thing: syupy pleading on their end, negotiating the price, hand holding, large packages, fax-backs, invoicing, waiting forever for the check, getting a hold of Daniel to find out why it doesn't match the inovice, and then MAYBE them correcting it. Who needs all that trouble?

I cut them loose too.

Re: I got tired of them too.

Just started with them in May. Only had two on my billing and they only paid for one. Had to contact Daniel but he didn't reply so I contacted one of the girls a couple of times and got him on it. Received the 2nd check 8 days after the first. Thought it was an accident but after reading the other remarks, not so sure. It better not become an issue or I will have to let them know that notaries are talking about them and they will end up out of business if no one will work with them. Glad I found this forum. Thanks all!

I just took an assignment from Loan Closers. It takes place on Thursday, Dec. 13th. They stated that they pay the 15th of each month. Did you get paid for your services?

Go to Signing Central, look them up and read the comments. There are many recent comments about being very slow to pay, etc.

JMO - give it back and save yourself the aggravation of having to chase all over creation for your money. It is not worth it.

I accepted a closing from Loan closers.com and then they sent me a confirmation for $50 less than we had agreed to on the phone. I balked and was told to talk to my scheduler. I mentioned that we had agreed to the fee because of the holiday and the distance. I was told that I needed to talk to the scheduler again to resolve the fee. I also said I had looked at Notary Rotary and it looked like they did not pay their notaries on time. I said I would take the assignment if they paid me via PayPal. I was told that they would look for another rotary.
I agreed to not perform this signing for them. Nor any other signing.
