Advisory for Monday 11/12/12

Many title and escrow offices are closed on Monday to celebrate Veterans Day.

Most lenders are NOT considering Monday as a valid business day for the purpose of right to cancel dates. Keep that in mind when you are checking the RTC dates beginning this Thursday.

Since it is a Federal holiday I didn't think it was up to the lender? Have I been mistaken these past years?

Since the holiday falls on a Sunday...I thought the

Monday WAS counted as part of the 3-days

Holiday and holiday observation are two different things.
