Can someone in Georgia

help me. I'm in Florida and here it is so easy to look up mortgage dox at the clerk of courts, but Ga. seems different. Trying to look up info in charlton county, Ga and everything keeps taking me to on line searches that you have to pay for. Are Georgia records not on line for public access without going to a pay site. I'm fairly computer smart but this is driving me crazy. Any help would be appreciated
