Fed Ex is now providing pre-stuck laser sheets for printing
online or email labels. You won't need those plastic sleeves anymore.

UPS used to have them, right? Is that what you mean?
Do you know the order number by any chance?
Thanks

These are blank laser sheets to put in your printer to print out labels you create online or the ones that are emailed to you in the mortgage docs. Not like the pre-stuck labels that you filled out for UPS.
The guy at the counter handed me a pack of 500 sheets and said they could be ordered through your account, on the corner of the sheet it has: FEDEX 146525 Rev 02/09 RRDO 12

UPS did have these years ago, yes... I actually still have some. At one point they were blank, 2 label per 8.5x11 sheet of paper. They were wonderful! But then, they caught on that people were using them for printing labels for other than just UPS, so they added a small blurb to the bottom that said "UPS Shipping Only" -- then at some point either discontinued them or made it nearly impossible to obtain. I had a ton stashed and they've been like gold for me over the years.
Glad to hear they're coming back.
If it's the same thing I'm thinking of, they're essentially the same thing as the Avery #5126 labels.

They gave me a package of labels earlier this week
Now if I can only remember to print the labels on them...

FedEx has had these for a few years, they are great to use
They are located in the online supplies, category: Electronic Shipping Labels. It should be the first item to display and they are called FedEx Laser Labels, Part Number 146525 (at least the ones I use).
Usually, I can simply put the paper in the manual paper tray and print, but only when the label (.pdf) is the correct page orientation. Sometimes the shipping label in the pdf file is in Portrait mode. For that, I fold the paper portion of the FedEx Label in half and put the label through the manual paper tray in landscaped format. This allows a shipping label to be printed on the label itself without having it go 1/2 on and 1/2 off the label. Hopefully this makes sense.
I always keep some plastic pouches just in case.

Although it's been a while since I've had to use them, I'm pretty sure these were available from FedEx several years ago. UPS has them as well. It's a full sheet with two die-cut labels, right?

Yes, UPS has the full sheet with two die-cut labels. FedEx has one label (1/2 sheet) on the full sheet. The remainder is just paper.

Right, thanks - that plain paper half was for optional printing of shipping info for your records.

Thanks Mike. I wondered what it was for; except for scrap paper :-)

I use both the FedEx and UPS laser sheets. They save me paper and I love to just peel and stick.

Ask the Title or Escrow company to sign-up with ShipTropolis.com so you can print UPS and Fedex labels on demand on their account.
1. ShipTropolis.com is secure for the title/escrow company. 2. It's easy for notaries to quickly create labels on demand. 3. It ensures the notary doesn't get wrongfully stuck with the shipping cost.
Disclaimer: I work for ShipTropolis
