I just messed up my EOM!
I missed a step while leaving signer's office (a well known celebrity). How embarrassing! Cancelled the rest of my day. Waiting to see if my orthopedist will see me.

I'm so sorry. Get off your feet and ice ice ice. This could happen to any one of us at any time. Surprised it doesn't happen more often, no need to be embarrassed.

I am feeling ok. Waiting for orthopedist to call back.
Since I am an older person now, I just want to get checked out. I don't feel bad. I can walk. No limping or anything. I want to be checked becuase I have osteopoenia (sp?) which I believe is a forunner to osteoporosis.

Just elevate your leg and ice, ice, ice. Happened to me last year. Just get some rest. No need to be embarrassed. Hope you feel better.

Unfortunately, alcohol increases inflammation. Yes, I am taking it easy. Drinking lots of water. Not too much to do tomorrow except for making a 10 minute presentation at my leads group and a signing at 6 PM. I'll be achey tomorrow. I think I'll live.

Sorry about your fall - glad to see you are being pro-active about getting it checked out - it probably goes without saying that sometimes the next day or two the worst of the injury rears its ugly head. So be prepared for that.
This could happen to anyone of us and it is a painful reminder to be ever so careful. Two of my signings tonight involved hiking up very steep driveways. I was so scared I would slip and fall but luckily didn't. I carry a Mag Light which at least helps see the curbs and cracks. A year or so ago I purchased something similar to cleats like sports players wear - they attach to the bottom your your shoes and help slippage in snow and ice. I am vane about wearing them, but I need to get over it here real soon!!!! Right??!!
