Need Help

I just connected my HP1320 printer to a different computer. I need to know how to get it to pull the paper from the correct drawers.

I've had a 1320 printer for a number of years & I don't recall ever needing to do anything other than running setup on my newer computer. The only thing is that I can't get the "Toolbox" anymore because, according to HP they no longer support my printer.

I just assumed that it reads whatever size the pages are in the pdf file.

My desktop is an old XP. I used Toolbox with it. It worked well. This laptop is a windows 7 and toolbox will not work.

Click on your printer icon. Go to Device Settings... there you will see the printer drawer set ups... if you must (based upon the first drawer, experiment). From there, you should be able to figure it out. Good luck... hardware... so frustrating...

If for some reason you get stuck... go into your control panel and double click "add new hardware" It should guide you through...

If none of that works, go to your printers website and download from there.

It doen't show printer drawer setups per se. You can go in and choose drawer 1, 2 OR 3. I don't see where I can select 2 and 3.

check for updated drivers on the HP website for this printer.
