Question on Premier Membership(s)

Quick Question, have any of you noticed an increase in business when you upgrade your profile from the free version to the paid version and also when you pay to have more zip codes listed under your profile? Not just here on Notary Rotary but any other Notary websites as well. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Yes absolutely..Notary Rotary has been a great asset to my business by being a premier member and one of the most respectful and professional by far!

Yes, better here and there (coffee site). Can't say the same for others.

I recently let my coffe site membership lapse to the free listing. I did not notice any difference in my call volume resulting from a paid listing on that site. A Virginia signing service is also manipulating a great deal of the zip codes by buying multiple listings in VA on that site and getting 5 zip codes per paid listing. I also don't like the way they rank the listings - someone 40 miles away from you could be listed before you in your own zip code.

I much prefer NotRot and I pay for premium membership here.

I'm going to do the same at the cafe.....I find it annoying to see someone 50 miles away in my zip - and forget the numbers - last quote I got was 5 years here. I'll stick with Notary Rotary. Even the general public finds me with ease.

Most of my business comes from being a Premier Member on Notary Rotary since becoming a NSA in January 2006. Membership fee is ABSOLUTELY worth it!

Question to OP: Did I miss something? To my understanding and recollection, on NotRot, we pay for membership only. We do not pay for additional zip codes or cities or areas. Anyone looking for a notary, enters search parameters and a list comes up depending on that criteria.

The additional zipcodes is referring to the numbers site.

I havent been a member on the numbers site in over 4 years. Im not willing to pay $200+ for positioning.

I havent renewed my membership on the coffee site. Dont know if it ever impacted my business but Im in steady demand being a full time NSA.

Re: I'm not so sure, I ask where the SC heard about me and

I get answers concerning many sites. I have not paid to belong to any of them but am on the free site of several. There are 8 premium members ahead of me in my zip so buying into the system may not be a big help anyway. I can't think of a reason why a SC would care what membership you held.
