I am just shocked that after completing a closing in Maryland . I received a call from the lender asking me for my registration #. I stated in Maryland we don't have numbers, just a license LTP. She said she would be sending me back the Note so I could add "NA" to the registrations number space. Why could'nt they just add NA, if they know in Maryland we don't have numbers. "What say you?

going to alter your notarial certificate. You should be glad they didn't decide to correct it & have asked you to.

Kimmy, when I see the space for a number I always write N/A to complete the acknowledgement. They want it in your handwriting not theirs.
