Bayview Loan Servicing, Coral Gables, FL
I just received an email from them with a warranty deed and a deed in lieu attached. There were instructions on who to meet with and where and where to fax them back to and ship originals back to. Problem is that I have never heard of them. They are not listed here. No phone call, no discussion of fee etc etc. They just took it upon themselves to send this to me without asking or any information about me. Pretty presumptuous of them.
Does anyone have any info on them at all?

WOW, that's scary! What a breach of borrower privacy on
their part. No wonder more regulations are coming for this industry.

They do have a website with contact information.

While it is very unprofessional and indicative of poor quality control, I do not think either document contains non public personal information.

I had something similar happen to me earlier this year,
the only difference is it was an entire purchase package from a title company. Both the property and the title company were located in Florida. I called the person who emailed the package, and told her she must have sent the package to me by mistake. It turns out as she explained that it was not a mistake.
The loan package was for a US Army Captain (CPT Smith), temporarily assigned to Fort Sam Houston, to attend training. CPT Smith had been here about a week, and had no transportation. On the day of the closing, the title company contacted CPT Smith and told her to locate a local mobile notary to handle her closing. In between classes/training CPT Smith is on the phone with the title company trying to coordinate this closing. Mind you, the training is pretty stringent, and there is no tolerance for cell phone usage during the training, however, they are allowed to use them during their 10 minute breaks.
CPT Smith located my information online, and forwarded it to the title company. Since she didn’t have any transportation she needed a notary with access to military installations. She assumed that the title company would contact me. The title company assumed that CPT Smith had contacted me. Well, no one contacted me, and while sitting at the computer one morning I received an email with an entire purchase package attached to it.
After contacting the title company and CPT Smith, I did do the signing.
