Boy oh Boy
I'll post this from FASS....for all Wells Fargo loans....without comment
Attention Signing Agents!!!
When you contact the borrowers to confirm or work out the date and time of the signing appointment , you must ensure to refer to the order as a "LOAN MODIFICATION SIGNING" ONLY. You must NOT refer to this order as a CLOSING OR A REFINANCE CLOSING.
.
Thank you!

Re: Never mind...none the less...
Received my email today as well. However, whilst we all may lol at this; good to see that WF actually forwarded notice (or in this instance, "forewarning.". :-) Fortunately, most are all ready well acquainted with this advisement.

You get exactly what you pay for in this business.
Of course they're going to call it a closing. When you hire the cheapest notaries you can get, you hire the ones with the fewest tools. And if you hire someone whose only tool is a hammer, every job they tackle looks like it involves a nail...

That explains that
*** And if you hire someone whose only tool is a hammer, every job they tackle looks like it involves a nail...***
Now I understand why I heard a loan officer refer to me as "The Hammer" when talking to an escrow officer.

Interesting to know that WF is doing loan mods. I've
seen a lot of refi's lately, but no loan mods yet.
