Being a mobile notary means never having to say you're sorry

(in th case of late docs, at least).

Anyway, LOL! Been there, done that.

But in case you were semi-serious, I suggest trying this in the case of late docs: never tell borrowers you'll "be late."

Simply say their documents "have not been released yet" and that you will call them when they are to reset another appt time. That way, you're not apologizing for something that is not your fault and better yet, the borrowers will (hopefully) aim their displeasure toward the appropriate party. Meanwhile, I'm getting some coffee now, too.

I think we when we call and confirm the appointment we should just give a cable company window..sometime between 9am and 6pm Wink

LOL--I envy you in a way. I can't remember when I've had that many hours to sit & wait for docs. Running appts. all day long, and had to print some late docs outside at Fedex Office last night--2 pm signing became 8:45--home after 10 pm--exhausted. Two more days to go & I hope I can hold it together than long. ;-) LOL

This was just a "parody" of a day. It truly is a rarity that I have 3 hrs. to sit and wait. As for telling borrowers I am going to be late, well, that's the truth. This was posted just for "fun".

Actually, that's the way I read it. To be perfectly frank, it made me smile.
